In 4000 Divya Prabhandham, both thirumangai in his periya thorumozhi (naaraayana saptham) and
peyazhwaar in moonRaam thiruvanthaathi (saraangathithvam), offered paasurams
in praise of this sthalam. Tirumangai aazhvaar confirms that He stayed at this
sthalam for ever, that he is ever prevading and pukkaanai here, meaning He
is in every soul. PEy aazhvaar says, The Lord who resides in Sri vaikundam,
made his presnece available for the
bakthaas of boolOga in those places where the beautiful vaNdus are dwelling in
the Solaip push pangal of these sthalangal, ThiruvEngadam, Kadikai and thiru
viNNagaram (oppiliappan koil).
In addiition, Sriman Naathamuni, Sri raamaanuja, Sri Manavaala Maamunikal and Erumbiyappaa performed mangalaa saasanam here.
