This is a divya desam in Tanjore district, but is very close to Tiru Anbil,
about 5 miles. It can be reached from Kumbakonam as well and is about 15
miles from Trichy. This place is known as Koiladi rather than
TriuppEr Nagar. This divya desam is on the Tiruvaiyaru - Tirukkattupalli
road. This place got its name as TiruppEr Nagar, as Goddess Lakshmi stayed
here for a long time.
