Tiruvidaventhai is a beautiful temple located very close to Chennai.
It is one the way to Mamallapuram from Chennai and is very close
to VGP Kovalam beach resort. It is about 12 miles from Mamallapuram,
which is very well known for its ancient sculptures and manuments.
This temple is the only main attration at this village. It is facing the
bay of bengal and is surrounded by trees and presents a mystical
atmosphere. The present day name for this place is Tiruvadanthai.
